IRUDI METAL STAMPING

It was in the early 1970s when two friends and professional colleagues decided to start a machine shop. Although they were already using our trade name at the time, it wasn’t until 1979 that the company was officially established as a tooling workshop under the name TALLERES IRUDI SL. Today, we continue to evolve as a company specializing in the development and design of production systems for cold-stamped metal components. We operate automated lines for transfer and progressive dies, as well as robotic cells, alongside complementary technologies such as welding and subassembly assembly, primarily for the demanding automotive market.

With over 40 years in the metal stamping industry, we are a skilled and experienced team. Combined with advanced technological resources for die and tooling development, this positions us well to offer customers solutions tailored to their design, cost, quality, service and innovation needs.

1970

The friends and colleagues, later founding partners, begin their first mechanical and tooling work.

1979

Talleres Irudi S.L. is founded as a tooling workshop, marking the start of its first commercial operations.

1996

Construction of the new production plant in Zaldibar.

2005

Company purchased by the current shareholders.

2010

CTI established within the Automotive Intelligence Center as an engineering and R&D hub.

2014

New production plant set up in Irun (Gipuzkoa).

2017

Acquisition of Industrias Troem Ega in Amorebieta (Bizkaia).

2018

Expansion of the production hall in Zaldibar.
